The Kunming–Singapore Railway, increasingly called the Pan-Asia Railway Network refers to a network of railways, being planned or under construction, that would connect China, Singapore and all the countries of mainland Southeast Asia. The concept originated with British and French imperialists, who sought to link the railways they had built in southwest China, Indochina and Malaya, but international conflicts in the 20th century kept regional railways fragmented. The idea was formally revived in October 2006 when 18 Asian and Eurasian countries signed the Trans-Asian Railway Network Agreement, which designates the Kunming–Singapore Railway as one of the Trans Asian Railways. The proposed network consists of three main routes from Kunming, China to Bangkok, Thailand: the Eastern Route via...

There are normally signs pointing passengers either to arrivals/baggage claim or connecting flights/departure lounge. Some airports may make it tricky, asking passengers to go through here and there. IF in doubt, ask someone. If your original flight is delayed, meaning you will miss your connecting flight, you will be directed to get on an alternative flight at no extra cost to you. It is the airlines fault, so just go up to customer services and ask what the deal is if your airline has not told you. ------- SOME HELPFUL RELATED VIDEOS ------- 13 WAYS TO PASS TIME ON A LONG HAUL FLIGHT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VjSQXh0L7o HOW TO SURVIVE LONG HAUL FLIGHTS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXvR_0HXj-w COMPARING FLIGHT COMPARISON WEBSITES: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RltaxRlmzM --------------------- Important stuff --------------------- Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/psychotraveller DON'T FORGET TO BECOME A LITTLE PSYCHO: http://goo.gl/GnWOIt --------------------- Social media is sexy --------------------- Facebook: http://goo.gl/K0u8pa Twitter: http://goo.gl/FsbWJR Pinterest: http://goo.gl/qgRD4v Instagram: http://goo.gl/abzups SnapChat: @PsychoTraveller My blog: http://goo.gl/5zP0dG Business email: psychotraveller22 at gmail dot com --------------------- What I Film My Videos With --------------------- GoPro Hero 4 Silver: http://goo.gl/9AE4Yu Sony A5100: http://goo.gl/Fo1DDY --------------------- Some Sexy Stuff Right Here!! --------------------- Get $30 off your first stay on Airbnb: https://www.airbnb.com.au/c/aford34?s=8 Get $10 off GoPro accessories with the code “PsychoTraveller” here: http://www.sandmarc.com/ (Above are affiliate codes/links which mean if you sign up/buy a product, at no extra cost to you, I make a little bit of money to help me maintain my channel and blog!)

We visit Marina Bay Sands Hotel for the amazing spectacular view of the megacity skyline. I fuggin luv it. So beautiful. We are at Singapore Changi Airport. Join us for this Airport Tour where we visit both the Check-in Area and main departure area of Changi Airport, Singapore. Changi Airport has been voted as the World´s Best Airport by Skytrax since 2012 and it is also our favorite airport to arrive at, depart from or be in transit at when we travel. This airport tour begins at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3 where we arrive by taxi from Singapore. We make our way into the Terminal 3 Check-in area and give the viewer a first hand look at what the inside of Changi Airport looks like. We then visit the famous Singapore Airport Slide located on level 1 in Terminal 3. The slide is Singapore´s tallest and is is also the world´s tallest slide in an airport. After spending time looking at shops and displays in the Terminal 3 Check-in area we make our way to the Skytrain which is a driver-less train connecting Changi Airports Terminal 3 and Terminal 1. At Terminal 1 viewers also get a view of the Check-in area of Singapore Changi Airport´s Terminal 1. The main attraction in Terminal 1 is the moving Kinetic Rain sculpture. After viewing Terminal 1 and the Kinetic Rain sculpture we make our way back to Terminal 3 with the Skytrain. Our Check-in Counter opens and we them make our way through immigration into the main Singapore Changi Departure Hall / Singapore Changi Transit area. We then proceed to take a tour of the transit area looking at the airports Duty Free Shops, Restaurants and Brand Name luxury goods shops. We were very impressed to see that Singapore Airport had it´s own Hard Rock Cafe located within the Transit area, good news for Hard Rock Cafe fans. We are just wondering what it was called, The Hard Rock Cafe Changi Airport perhaps? Luckily we also had time to visit the Singapore Changi Airport Butterfly Garden which is the world´s first Butterfly Garden located in an airport. We then proceeded to the Airport Lounge called the Ambassador Transit Lounge. This Airport lounge is a Pay-Per-Use lounge and access is available to all passengers at a fee regardless as to whether they are flying First Class, Business Class or Economy Class. The video continues with us making our way to our departure gate and ends when we are about to board our Qatar Airways flight to Doha. Watch out in this video for the smartly dressed Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airways smartly dressed cabin crew members. Unfortunately owing to limited time airside at Singapore Changi Airport we were unable to visit many of the attractions and activities available to passengers / travelers at this airport such as the Enchanted Garden (Terminal 2 Transit area), Koi Pond (Terminal 3 Transit area), Lily Pad Garden (Terminal 1 Transit area), Orchid Garden (Terminal 2 Transit area), Social Tree (Terminal 1 Transit area), Sunflower Garden (Terminal 2 Transit area), Movie Theatre (Terminal 3 Transit area), Cactus Garden (Terminal 1 Transit area), Entertainment Deck (Terminal 2 Transit area), Swimming Pool (Terminal 1 Transit area), Peranakan Exhibition & Porcelain of Asia Exhibition (Terminal 2 Transit area) and we would also like to have seen the Aviation Gallery in the Public area in Terminal 3. Next time we visit Singapore Changi Airport we will try to include as many of those airport sights and attractions in our airport tour video. This Airport Tour Video of Singapore Changi Airport was filmed inside the Check-in area of Changi Airports Terminal 1 and 3 and airside in the Singapore Changi Airport transit area using our 4K Camcorder which can be seen on Amazon here: http://amzn.to/2tyK6D9 Wiki writes about Singapore Changi Airport, "Singapore Changi Airport, or simply Changi Airport, is the primary civilian airport for Singapore, and one of the largest transportation hubs in Southeast Asia. It is currently rated the World's Best Airport by Skytrax, for the fifth consecutive year (Skytrax's World's Best Airport 2013–2017)..." Launching of the "Asia-Africa Air Corridor", an initiative aimed at utilizing Mauritius and Singapore as air hubs to foster new air routes that will move goods, capital and people between Asia, Africa and beyond. The creation of this air corridor is in line with the economic vision of the government to transform Mauritius into one of the biggest aviation hubs of the region and to firmly establish the country as the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean.

Breaking Singapore laws can be a costly mistake. You won't believe the weird Singapore laws that are in the books, but stick around to find out! 10 Urinating in a Public Elevator It is illegal to urinate in a public elevator in Singapore. Now you might be thinking sure isn’t that a law everywhere, well no it is obviously frowned upon, disgusting and rude but it’s debatable whether you’d be punished by law doing that in say.. the United States. The newest wave of elevators in Singapore come with a urine detector which if activated will shut the elevator doors and keep them shut until police arrive to open them. 9. Not Flushing Public Toilets In Singapore there is an actual law that states you cannot leave an unflushed public toilet which will result in a $150 fine. Now catching someone not flushing would be hard to prove but that law is in the books. 8. Obnoxious Singing or Musical Instrument Playing Singing in public in an obnoxious way or singing profanities can result in a fine or 3 months in jail where intentional obnoxious musical instrument playing can result in a fine of $1000. 7. Jaywalking If you’re going to jaywalk, don’t do it in Singapore. A $20 fine can be issued on the spot with an additional $1000 fine or 3 months of jail time on top of that. Maybe it’s time to learn how to use the crosswalk. 6. Spitting in Public In Singapore if you want to spit you’ll need to do that in the privacy of your own home as doing so in public will warrant you a $1000 fine. But really don’t spit at home, at least not on the floor.. that’s gross. 5. Disturbing Public Transit with Kite Flying Playing with or flying a kite that disrupts public transit can result in a $5000 fine. I can definitely think of a better of spending 5 grand then on a kite flying fine. 4. Connecting to Someone Else’s Wifi Singapore has a Computer Misuse and Cybersecurity Act that states using someone else’s Wifi as hacking, if caught you can receive 3 years in jail or a $10,000 fine or potentially both. 3. Selling Chewing gum A first time offence for selling chewing gum can be up to $100,000 fine or a 2 year prison sentence unless it’s approved medicinal gum. 2. Graffiti If you’re looking for a shocking and unique experience traveling abroad try spraying some graffiti in Singapore. You’ll get upwards of a $1500 fine, a caning and 3 years in jail. Probably best to put the cans down. 1. Using Drugs Before Entering Singapore Singapore has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to drugs in their country. If you enter Singapore with drugs in your system you can receive a fine as high as $20,000 and up to 10 years in prison. Drug tests are can be conducted without a warrant by Singapore officials, if an obscene amount of drugs are found in your system they can impose the death penalty… yikes. The proposed network consists of three main routes from Kunming, China to Bangkok, Thailand: the Eastern Route via Vietnam and Cambodia; the Central Route via Laos, and the Western Route via Myanmar. The southern half of the network from Bangkok to Singapore has long been operational, though a high-speed line has been proposed. As of January 2014, construction of sections connecting China with Vietnam, China with Myanmar and Laos with Vietnam are under way. Work on sections in Myanmar and Laos were set to begin in early-2011 with Chinese assistance, but have been delayed. A high-speed rail project in Vietnam with Japanese support was cancelled in 2010 due to high cost. Those sections were originally expected to be completed in 2020.[5] The railway network is expected to increase regional economic integration and increase China's economic ties with Southeast Asia

What does it take to run one of the world’s most successful airlines? Going behind the scenes at Singapore Airlines during one of their busiest weeks of the year, we join the people at the heart of their operation. From the engineers maintaining the fleet of 108 aircrafts to the team preparing 20,000 inflight meals a day, our cameras venture across the airline’s network to present an inside look at the team’s daily challenges. The journey begins with Captain Alan Chan, a pilot with 39 years experience. We join him at Changi Airport Terminal 3, as he prepares for a flight to Hong Kong. We follow Captain Chan through his preparations for takeoff of an Airbus A380, the world’s largest commercial passenger aircraft. Changi Airport is the connecting hub and home base for Singapore Airline flights, with 120 flights arriving and departing daily. Station Manager Quentin Chin is tasked with making sure all the flights run smoothly. We join Quentin and his team as they tackle a flight delay, managing passengers who have missed connections. At the Singapore Airlines Training House, we see how cabin crew are prepared for life in the sky. What does it take to join the airline’s ranks? We meet a batch of new cabin crew trainees in the midst of a 15-week long course to become full-fledged cabin crew for Singapore Airlines. We capture them as they are undergoing safety training, discovering cabin crew life is more than service and smiles. First Officer Melvin Sim has been flying for 6 months, but is back in the training centre for a proficiency check. We join Melvin in a Boeing 777 flight simulator as he undertakes a test of his piloting skills. If he doesn’t meet the grade, Melvin could be grounded. Over to the hangars, we take a look at the engineers responsible for the upkeep of Singapore Airlines’ fleet of 108 aircrafts. To maintain these hundred tonne behemoths, they need to be shifted and parked without a scratch. We capture a team of ground engineers docking a plane in one of their six hangars. And to keep up with the number of Singapore Airline flights that take off, the inflight catering team is tasked with producing 20,000 meals a day. We follow Paolo Zambrano and Richard Neo as they show us how the menus are designed, tested and managed. Looking to the future, we join the design team to get a sneak peak at the next generation of features for future planes. What considerations must be made when designing the cabin look and state of the art inflight entertainment experience?
